Scope. These terms govern use of the free online tools ("Tools") published on superengineer.net by Zbigniew Huber ("the Author"). By accessing or using any Tool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Tools.
Purpose and intended use. The Tools are provided for educational, illustrative, demonstrative, and exploratory purposes only — for example, for self-study, teaching, training, concept exploration, or generating ideas. They are not certified, validated, qualified, or audited against any standard (including ISO, IEC, ASTM, IEEE, AIAG, VDA, ASQ, or similar), and they are not intended for, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis of, any decision in quality control, process control, engineering design, manufacturing, safety assessment, medical, pharmaceutical, clinical, financial, legal, regulatory, or compliance contexts. The user is solely responsible for selecting appropriate methods, validating results with qualified software and/or professionals, and verifying any outcome before acting on it.
No warranty. The Tools and all associated content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any warranty or representation of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. The Author expressly disclaims, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all warranties including but not limited to: accuracy, correctness, completeness, timeliness, reliability, continuous availability, absence of errors or bugs, merchantability, non-infringement, quality, and fitness for any particular purpose or use.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Author be liable for any damages whatsoever — including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, revenue, savings, goodwill, production, reputation, or business opportunities; damage to equipment or systems; costs of substitute products or services or third-party claims — arising out of or in connection with the use of, reliance on, or inability to use the Tools, even if the Author has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability which cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory provisions of applicable law.
Data handling. The Tools execute calculations locally in the user's browser. The Tools themselves do not transmit data entered by the user to any server, do not persist user-entered data, and do not use cookies or browser storage for such data. General website operation (hosting, analytics, and similar) is governed by the separate Privacy and cookies policy.
Third-party content. The Tools may reference external concepts, standards, or resources for educational context. The Author is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party material.
Intellectual property. The Tools (the original source code, structure, and layout) are the intellectual property of the Author unless stated otherwise. Educational use of results is permitted; redistribution or republication of the Tools themselves requires prior written consent.
Changes. The Author may modify, suspend, or discontinue any Tool, and may update these terms, at any time without notice.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Polish courts.
